• Set of 28 Bare Acts (this set) — 67 Acts, 6,200+ pages, carrying the IPC, CrPC and Indian Evidence Act in addition to BNS, BNSS and BSA
• Set of 25 Bare Acts — 64 Acts, 5,540+ pages, carrying the new criminal codes only

Offences committed before 1st July 2024 continue to be tried under the old codes, so the repealed statutes remain relevant in practice and can still feature in questions framed around them. Candidates who want the old codes to hand — and anyone who will keep the set for practice afterwards — should take the 28-Act set. Candidates who want the lightest compliant set for the examination alone can take the 25-Act set.
